Blind

She runs blindly in the night
invisible darkness fills her mind
claustraphobic screams flood her lungs
she sees blindly as she begs the man that isn’t there for love
she’s trapped by a million invisible people
she silently screams for help
no one can hear
the deaf tell her to shut up
pure darkness
she sees no weapons for her to take herself
she takes the invisible knife out of her
pocket and stabs downward into her chest
the invisible blood puddles around her
the breathing stops
